Organizing the nonreligious around their lack of belief is a challenge. When the only thing we have in common is that we don’t do something, what unites us?
Dr. Jason Heap has the answer, and will be conducting a workshop on the issue on Sunday, March 15, at 1:30 as part of Reason in the Rock. The workshop will take place in the Cox Creative Center at the Central Arkansas Library System.
Dr. Heap has been the National Coordinator for the United Coalition of Reason, and today he becomes its Executive Director. He is an educator and a world traveler, having studied religions and group organizations in the United Kingdom and the United States.
The United Coalition of Reason works to raise the visibility and sense of unity among local secularist groups with funding and expertise. The Arkansas Society of Freethinkers is a member of the Central Arkansas Coalition of Reason.
Register and attend all the talks, presentations, and workshops at this year’s Reason in the Rock, March 14-15. The first day will take place at the Wyndham Hotel in North Little Rock.
